Why BOA ?

Dobao
Parc Palmer - 24/06/18

Dobao is a Dj, producer and radio host from Buenos Aires. Also part of the duo Wild Safari and co-founder of High Life, he surely is one of the ambassadors of house music back in his country. Always digging in every record shop he may found, his vinyls sets are always composed with 70’s and 80’s gems from around the world.  

Ariel Harari
Parc Palmer - 24/06/18

Ariel Harari is a Dj based in Buenos Aires. He started Djing in 2010 after feeling the imperious need to share the music he had always loved. Since then, Ariel has played in numerous venues in his country including bars, parties and clubs in his hometown, other provinces, and alsoabroad. He surely has proved to his audience that his sounds were right, always exploring genres that surround House music, including Disco, Soul, Jazz, African music and sometimes Acid, most of it in vinyl.

Pabels, AKA Pablo Cortés is the DJ behind some of the most exclusive summer mix around soundcloud. With his Day Mixes, released on la Tropicál Records with more than 1 million plays, he continues spreading the love for summer lifestyle since the start of his career. These mixes blend the best of funk, hip hop, soul, disco and balearic music into an unpaired identity. He worked with brands such as Corona, Jack Daniels, Jagermeister, Absolutvodka and many more. 

Dionne

Besides from running the smallville record store in St Pauli, Hambourg together, Julius Steinhoff & Just Von Ahlefeld aka Dionne form a duo named smallpeople. As you could expect from people working in a record store, the dj-sets they perform explore various universes and genres, but always with a warm and eclectic balance.  

Jacques Bon

Between Hamburg & Paris, DJ, musician and boss of the record shop Smallville Records in Paris, Jacques Bon is one of the few people that can be considered as an ambassador of house music in France. He will clearly create a bridge between Hambourg and Bordeaux, and between Germany and France through his eclectic set.

Die Vögel

Jakobus Durstewitz and Mense Reents are both accomplished musicians that formed Die Vögel. Despite the success of their recordings, what really makes Die Vögel so unique is their live performance: They take the stage with an arsenal of real instruments, such as tuba, trombone, flute, trumpet and percussion, always combined with a propulsive bassline.

Born in Casablanca, Janeb is walking around Bordeaux and music festivals with his Canon camera when he is not DJing. Well known in the local scene, he plays rich and melodic house in his sets and explores a large variety of influences : blues, jazz, soul, gospel, ...

There only is a few artists attempting to bridge cultures through the power of music with quite the same impact as Adil Hiani. The Moroccan artist has been on a mission to unite Western and Eastern cultures through electronic music. Is he the best person we could invite to explore and illustrate our vision of social bonding/cultural discoveries ? He might be.  

Yes'In
Parc Palmer - 12/08/18

Born in Casablanca, it's there that Yassine Hafdane (Yes'in) had his first experiences in the music world at a very early age. The morrocan quickly became interested in Djing in the begining of the last decade after playing and experimenting all percussion and rhythm instruments. It's there that he was drawn to electronic music and clearly established his artistic identity after building up his own collection of vinyls.
